From April 2010, the committee of NALG Japan has been newly formed and
the association has made
a fresh start to strain for further development. We have 22 branches with
about 2000 members across the nation. In 1997, we first held the WALG Championship
in Otsu City in the western part of Japan,
since then we have constantly sent many partcipants to every WALG Championship
and had 3 World Champions, 1 Senior Champion and 1 Ladies Champion.
In 2013, we will hold the WALG Championship for the second time in Hokkaido,
the northernmost big island of Japanese archipelago known for one of the
most popular place for golfers in Asia. Hokkaido is not only
the place for golf but ski, crisp weather in summer and what is more, good
food. We look forward to meeting you and renewing friendship there. We
are ready for your challenge over Championship of each division and Doug
Crosby Cup.
